I have been in the restaurant business for 30 years and have had many companies handle my restaurant POS systems, however I have found DBS to be the most reliable, I remember one time my system completely crashed and DBS was able to install a new system and get my restaurant up and running the same day. I don’t know any other company that could have pulled that off.

I would give DBS a minus 5 star rating if I could. Absolutely the worst technical support and service in the industry. We are customers for about 10 years and in the past 2 years this company is going from good to absolutely no customer tech support. I you thinking to buy a pos system from DBS think twice! You throw your $ out the window and have nothing but nightmares. I wish we would have spend the 10k for our pos system somewhere else.

We have 2 Future POS systems at separate locations. Each have service agreements that were paid by credit card on 10/29/2020. Due to Covid, one location closed permanently in December 2020.

On 1/4/2021 I called DBS to request a pro rata refund on the unused service plan. I was told I needed to speak to Bob and he was just exiting the building. I was connected to a voice mail. I left a message with my cell phone number.

To date, no return phone call.

On 1/19/2021 I emailed sales@dbs4pos and asked for someone to contact me regarding this matter.

To date, no contact has been made with me.

1/25/2021 my husband and I called DBS and spoke to Stephanie She assured us she would call back by noon 1/26/2021.

No return phone call.

1/28/2021 I emailed Chris Adkins. I offered a compromise solution.

No response.

2/3/2021. I contact our credit card company and dispute the charge from 10/29/202 for the service plan. I receive an immediate credit due the full amount.

2/12/2021. 4:00 p.m. I call DBS for tech support at our open location. I’m told we don’t have a service plan. It expired 10/12/2020. I explain I paid for the service plan on 10/29/2020. The tech tries to reach the business office with no success. He takes my name and number and says someone will call me back. Its 5:45 on a Friday/we are in the bar business/no return phone call to straighten this out.

Not good.

Been with this company for several years. Have had many issues. This year has taken the cake. On average had a issue every week after a $2000 up grade that I was told I needed. Waited yesterday for a call back. Started at 11 calling in with a credit card machine not working. Called 4 times and was told they would call. Finally called the on call guy at 7 to fix my problem. All they want is money. Would not deal with them. Asked for the owner to call me first thing this morning to discuss my issues. Its ashame when you want to walk away from very expensive investment due to the company

Terrible company. All they want is your money. Absolutely horrible POS solutions. They also have no less than 4 employees and the former owner leaving positive google reviews to try and hide the truth. The character of this company is misguided and terrible. Stay as far away as you possibly can.

First let me say I’ve been having issues with remotely gaining access to my pos system since I got the system in November 2018 and issue still hasn’t been resolved mind there is a stay at home order and all I get is we are working on solving the problem I wouldn’t recommend Delaware Business Systems or FUTURE POS anyone!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Your staff is always friendly and very quick at getting back to me when I have an issue. Twice now, I’ve sent an chat online and within a short period of time I got an email that someone would get back. Then with an hour someone was calling and BAM it was fixed. Kudos to your staff.

I have been with DBS for a long time now and I am a huge fan. The support staff is great. Pricing is fair. And their systems are top of the line. In addition if you ever have a problem just ask for Kevin Dunn. He has been there for me since I became a customer and I am sure he will do the same thing for you. I just bought an entirely brand new system from DBS for our new location and looking forward to being with DBS for many years to come. I would highly recommend DBS!!! Ask for Kevin when you call.

As club manager of Steelton American Legion Post 420 in Steelton Pennsylvania I highly recommend DBS! Dave, Erik and the live help desk exceeded our expectations. From the 1st demonstration to now purchasing and going live with the future p.o.s. system we couldn't be happier. All staff is very knowledgeable and helpful making our transition from a regular cash register to a P.O.S. system flawless! Thank you all again!

We have had the pleasure to have DBS as a partner now for over 15 years. From the early days of the POS to all the advancements of today, DBS has always been on top of their game. Dan Stubbs, Chris, Bob and rest of the DBS team have been true assets to our franchisees. They make themselves always available no matter the day or time. DBS indeed offers, "better than expected service." Well done team!

Leave DBS and FuturePOS in the past. For $10,000, we received a nightmarish POS system that did not include all of our menu items and, worst of all, was missing 80% of our modifiers. Delaware Business Systems (DBS), who was responsible for creating the database, set a new standard of incompetence for the unfinished system they sold to us. Their futile attempts to finish the programming that should have been done before the system was installed only made matters worse. DBS exhibited a level of incompetence I had never seen before nor since. In an attempt to salvage the system we invested countless hours finishing and improving the mess created by DBS. There was to be no happy ending as the system itself was so cumbersome, and required maintainence so time-consuming that we decided to walk away from our investment after 11 miserable months. The combination of DBS and FuturePOS was directly responsible for bringing our years-long growth to a screeching halt and nearly put us out of business. To this day it remains the darkest period of our restaurant's existence.

The variety of POS solutions offered by DBS helped us choose the perfect systems based on our various business models and goals!

Original Review 4/15/17 DBS - I hope there was zero added by Google because DBS dont deserve to even receive 1 star. From sales to service they're all same. One of my biggest mistake i bought their POS. Jamie's review is very well said. STAY AWAY FROM DBS.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would for Dbs. My choice to purchase my point of sale system from them was a very costly mistake and I do hope others read this and think twice before paying such a high price for old, outdated computer systems loaded with software that is too advanced for the hardware. Had I known the systems we were paying for were simply old computers loaded with stock software that was not even customized to our business as we had been promised, I would have NEVER made this purchase. The customer support that followed was unprofessional, expensive and inefficient. They have had a negative impact on our business as well because the system fails to work so often and we are left with customers who can't use credit cards or must wait in long lines as we calculate their bills. Dbs is a scam, in my opinion, selling outdated, faulty equipment and then charging ridiculous prices for "customer support" that fails to resolve the issue. Once you choose them, you're stuck because they are the support for the product, so selling you faulty equipment puts more money in their pocket.
