They are awful. They refuse to verify any information. I filed bankruptcy and they are telling another apartment company that I owe money and declined my application. My actual credit report says paid. How can you try to override someone's credit report and then tell them they are responsible for getting letters from each person to clear you. A phone call only takes a minute. I asked why they could not call and he ignored me and gave me the fax number. Now the apartment that I applied to will keep the processing fee if I cannot make these apartment complexes write letters in 72 hours and drive to different parts of Atlanta to get the letters.
RUN!! I wanted to leave no stars. It was not an option. These guys are HORRIBLE. They decided to keep $100,000 of our money because they felt our business were growing too fast. Today is 90 days and Monday they said they might hold the 100K for another 90 days. WHAT??? What arrogance!!

This is by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with, this my first review I have ever done but I had to. I have been doing business with them for month with no problems, then my company slowed down due to this global pandemic so my bills and also my payments got behind, I got a pressure washing job did the job and they froze my account, instead of working with me helping me resolve the issue they chose to deactivate my account and just leave me stuck with no way to receive payments and no money. This literally hurt my business in the worse way and hurt me even more.

I been waiting for my check for 32 days now and still nothing. They keep telling me 7 to 10 business days. I do hope I get the check.i suggest no one try money network at all

Please make your self a favor stay away from this company they do electronic contracts dont disclose the high hiding fees non canceleable 48 month contract that will cost over 10,000 usd to buy out...this company shouldnt be doing business please run away from this c thieves as far as you can if is not too late dont sign anything over the internet with them , print every contract .

I've closed my business on November 2017 and they are still charging me for their stupid machine despite several phone calls to them....eventually they stop answering your calls and sure keep charging you! Worst thing I've ever done. You can't go wrong with using Square. The little higher fees are way worth it at the end than having to deal with these thieves.

DO NOT USE this company to Process your credit card transactions. When my contract was up for renewal, I cancelled them and went to a new company, they continued to charge my account each month for over a year, they promised refunds and will not follow thru. I have wasted so many hours of my life dealing with them, I only want a refund for monthly charges that I should not have been charged for. They have approved it for refund in the Finance Dept and then cancel the request without explanation or follow up. I am so upset I am at the point where it is no longer an issue of just a refund, I am escalating (their terminology) it to the CEO. I was already informed he would not be able to fix my issue. I am contacting an Attorney now. I have a small Photography business, the only reason this went on for so long was i was dealing with my husband in his fight with Cancer. I am praying they will just give me my refund.

I found them to be very helpful and pleasant as a small business. They took thre time and made sure I was completely satisfied and taken care before leaving. Pricing wise, they were extremely completitive. Great experience.

After submitting paperwork to support a chargeback case, I was never contacted again by First Data. Rather than letting me know ANYTHING about the status of this case (in which I issued a refund that the customer claimed he never received), they just processed the refund! Without even giving me the opportunity to rebut! When you grow so big that you forget who pays the bills, it's time to find a smaller service provider. I called to let someone know about my experience, and three times I failed to get through to a human being, so I just gave up. Already found another merchant provider, and don't even care if I pay more for the privilege - I just can't reward bad customer service like this!

This is the only review I have ever written in my life as I do not like complaining about people/businesses but they deserve this. I would give this company 0 stars if it were possible. When signing up with them, they do not mention that there is a minimum of a 4 yr contact. Two years later, I switched to another company that had better customer service and was honest with how much they charged and deducted per month and to cancel with First Data I was told that I would have to pay off the remaining balance for the 2 years. I asked if they could email me the instructions on how to send everything back and they said they could not email me or tell me how and that I would have to receive the breakdown via snail mail in 3-5 business days. Then they gave me an address to send their terminal back but they do not even send UPS/USPS or any labels to send it so you have to send it at your own expense as well. When you call them for answers or clarification, they are extremely rude and really do not care. I advise everyone to be very cautious with signing up with this company since the only time they were professional and seem to care was when they were getting you to sign up!

This company is awful. If you decide to cancel your service for any reason their collection practices a horrid. The worst I have ever seen in any industry. Do not get involved with this company or you will be making a HUGE mistake.

their customer service was so horrific that i felt compelled - even obligated - to write my first-ever negative review. i strongly recommend staying away from First Data for your merchant processing needs, as in my experience, they will not support you or care about the negative impact they have on your business, in any way.

Had my check declined because their "model" determined I met their "risk assessment" and there was "too much activity" recently on my account. WHAT A CROCK!!!! I've never written a bad check in the 30,000 I've probably written in the last 40 years. When I called, I got some young thing reading the corporate line when someone like calls to complain. "We're sorry for any inconvenience we've caused you" she said. How PATHETIC!!!!!!

I was a victim of fraud. Instead of helping me, first data closed my account and still charged me their fees even though the charge that this customer tried to push through was returned. Customer service is poor at best.

Why do they have 2 stars? They shouldn't even have 1! This company is a complete rip off! Half of their phone numbers don't work, and the only way to access your statements pops up as an "untrusted site"! It took me 8 phone numbers to reach one associate that actually worked for them, and that guy was a total jerk! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
