just awful, the worst pos system
Worst POS company in existence . Consistently crashing disconnecting from printer and scanners multiple times an hour . Everyday ! They have no customer service , virtually at all. Pod crashed on 420

Hands down the worst customer service experience. Go with any other POS before this one. It looks good but it is riddled with bugs, constantly disconnecting from label and receipt printers, bugs that crash the app all the time, tons of issues connecting and syncing with metrc. Customer service is completely useless. They just straight up will not help you with any issues. Doesn't matter who you email or call there is zero support. If you care about running your business efficiently and effectively choose another POS. The issues with green bits will cost you revenue because of their downtime during business hours. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Greenbits has been awesome. It hasn't come without hiccups, but they do what they say they'll do. Inventory management and speed is best I've experienced.

We love Greenbits. The registers work great and keep our dispensary running smoothly. I'd love to see more new features come out faster. Although They did just launch a new checkin process that has saved us a lot of time.

Easily the worst pieces of technology I have ever used in any retail environment. Systems continuously disconnects from label and receipt printers. Coupons randomly stop working. The help they provide over the phone is beyond useless. Do not provide any on sight support for hardware issues for the hardware they provided nor will they hire another company to come out and fix hardware issues. I just feel completely helpless when I am dealing with them so please do your selves a favor, and do not ever even attempt to think about using this company. I can not tell you how many times this place has caused me a headache. To the owners and the customer service team there, please do me a huge favor and go crawl in a hole and never come back out. If you don't have a hole, grab a shovel. If you don't have a shovel, borrow mine. And just know, me giving you that shovel is more help to you than any help you have ever been to me.

I wish i can give them zero stars or even negative stars. Very poor customer service, they take weeks to figure out what the problem is to then do nothing about it. This is a state compliance issues caused by green bits' failure to consistently report sales to METRC and they have no sense of urgency to fix it. All i get are bogus excuses about being stuck in a queue??? Im done with them, there is better option available.

Poor customer service, no response to multiple inquiries about compliance issues caused by greenbits malfunction, does not report sales to METRC consistently, financial reporting is faulty.

While visual appealing on the front end, the functions that sales promises do not actually work. There is no way to access your raw data and reports are only presets that somebody who has zero experience or knowledge of analytics would create. For example, in a card required medical marijuana field, we enter in the patient, their card number, expiration, and provider, yet none of this information is accessible on the register activity reports which can only be pulled on month at a time. (Building yearly customer trends is going to be awesome). You can't combine locations in a single report either. I spend hours pulling reports for each store for each month, creating V lookups to search information that it has a column heading for (but no data), and then consolidate. We also have to pay an additional employee hours every day to just print labels because of inefficient label printing steps (there is about 6 steps to print a label and you have to go into Inventory and print labels individually for EACH item. It is insane.) Simple (and sometimes legally required) settings like having a patient's name print on the receipt are not possible (yep, if the law requires it, your budtenders can hand write the name onto the receipt of every single person for every single transaction). They also just tacked on a 6K a year for compliance to their customers in addition to the start up and annual cost of software which is hilarious because their ineffective reporting made it impossible to break out the tax liability between providers for 1Q this year and we had to go through almost 2 months of individual transactions for 1 of the store locations (30 hours of my life I'd like back) to remain compliant with the state. These are only a few of the 20+ issues we've had in the few months we have used GreenBits, and they are unable to resolve them because IF customer service bothers to get back to you (you write an email or leave a message and they try get back within a week), they ultimately don't know how to solve it or their software's limitations don't allow it to be fixed. The scary part is that these issues are just on the retail side as we currently operate in an unregulated market. I can't wait to see how much fun it will be when we pull that state and their software into this mess this year. I highly recommend avoiding this company for anyone who takes the medical marijuana industry or business in general seriously as the inefficiencies and lack of analytics become more and more of a drain on time and finances as your business grows. Also, for the price point and very limited capabilities, it doesn't make sense to smaller 1 store operations either.
