Poor customer service, most agents lack the technical training and rely on a slack message to a so called ninja or an inexperienced supervisor. Half the tech team are on heroin or other opiates. One sells cocaine.
talech hired a recently fired sales manager from GoDaddy to run their customer care team. It is a really positive vibe then a whole bunch of back stabbing with a smile.
They rely on a Mexico owned bank (Elavon) to finance their credit card processing and to sell their product. They have to be the worst company in the world. Seriously flawed business model.
When choosing a POS system, anyone is better than talech and Elavon.

This company is by far one of the least professional companies I’ve ever experienced. Few employees know what they’re talking about, the most helpful ones either no longer work for the company or are never available, too many false promises are made by what seems like new employees or extremely incompetent ones, and it all seems to fall back on the management teams lack of communication or participation in the general groundwork. Multiple times a manager has been promised as part of an escalated call and nobody calls you back. The supervisors suck for the most part. They rarely provide you a solution rather than a bunch of lines like “I’m so sorry” or “I apologize for the inconvenience” then return you back to no solution just for one random employee to catch the mistake and provide clarity and a good, helpful answer. Overall; whoever is running the show for customer support needs a demotion or replacement. Things have been on a quick decline since the new year and I’m glad I no longer use talech services. Boo Talech!
