I bought the whole POS system from foremost. Back office, two front terminals and the kitchen video monitor. Although I'm under warranty, the units have been down for 3 days. Office people are helpful but my tech came and unplugged everything from my back office computer and called me later to pick it up. With no guidance on which switches goes where my system wouldn't start. Now it's a weekend and I'm left with no running system. I'm definitely looking into a lawyer to settle this and another POS system.

I’ve had nothing but great experience with Foremost. Our sales person Jason still answers my calls and emails with questions and everyone from tech support on is always very friendly and helpful. The Aloha POS system has been very beneficial for our business and Foremost will always be honest and up front. I recommend them strongly for POS needs.

Absolutely awful. Foremost and the Aloha systems that they sell not only seem to have no plans for adapting to the future, but they are years behind the present. There are a lot of better, cheaper options for POS systems that do things like real-time update, read chip cards, update security certificates on time, work with the credit card processor you choose, and do just about anything else you would expect a POS to do in the 21st century. If you've stopped here because, you're looking for a new POS, please keep looking.

When you're buying a POS System, yes they are all expensive. I have used Foremost for 15 plus years and they have always treated me great. Very knowledgeable about their products and services. They have a great app called Pulse that I am able to track my restaurant sales in real time. I highly recommend their company to anyone in the restaurant business.

My experience with this company might help someone who is making the decision of choosing Aloha POS system or its competitors.
I've chosen Aloha and I realized now that I was my big mistake.
Foremost appeared to be a medium corporation but they run their business like a small family owned business.
The software & hardwares are very sensitive and unreliable. They failed and crashed periodically, keeping their tech phone support busy and costly tech support hourly charges.
Their rate was $125 per hour, but would cost $300-$400 for just to configure an equipment or software, even through it took them a few minutes to do the job (they limited the user ability to configure the software & avoid doing it right infront of consumer).
My equipments started to fail after the warranty ended in the first year. And 50% of them failed within the 3rd year. They forced me to buy new ones rather pay costly repairs.
They are quoting me $1,600 annually software update.
I'm felling being ripped off.
