Talked to them at SEMA. I have a demo this week . Initially had some difficulty getting in contact with a response. My word of the year (reasonable expectations). I believe this will be a great fit for my company .

We have used the most commonly known software applications for the automotive industry through out the years. They all require a 12 month commitment and promise you the moon but they all have problems and the most frustrating thing is the wait time with customer support and if you are fortunate the rep knows what they are doing but its rare. I am sure we all have our stories with inadequate customer support and when you want to cancel due to their non performance it's a battle but it is possible.
What I appreciate about Shopmonkey is that they understand that our time is valuable. They provide everything they offer in writing so everything is upfront. Training is available but it's so effortless to use. Great reports, easy to find customer, process payments, send invoices to customer, text messages, track time for employees, easily enter notes, use your phone to enter information, you can opt not to use carfax for your customers, and so much more diagrams etc..and NO CONTRACTS.
This is a monthly service and they are the only provider that lets you try it out for 30 days. That is confidence in their product and it puts me the customer at ease.
In addition to all the great software features their customer service team is GREAT! They are respectful of my time and understand that I do not have 30 minutes to sit on hold. I love the chat feature, if you are stuck, forgot something or it has a hick up just send a message in the chat window and you get a response in 5 minutes or less. I send a message and walk away from it to keep working and the response comes through to your chat window and you also get it an email.
Try it for 30 days, you wont be disappointed our younger and older staff use it with ease. Our customer love how easy it is to read their estimates/invoices.

The UI/UX of this software is unmatched - it is so easy to navigate. It is cloud based, which is great for throwing the tablet in the service truck and getting paid before the customer drives away. The customer estimates and invoices look amazing (I've worked at big dealerships and they don't have anything on these)! You can email and/or text with your customers in the software throughout the repair process...photos of their equipment can even be sent right in the software. The in-app parts procurement through Parts Tech syncs up with our local parts store accounts and automatically pushes over the vehicle info from the invoices saving time ordering parts...and reducing the "parts store guy" incompetency (they still manage to mess things up, but it is happening less frequently). It has customizable pricing matrices. It does inventory management and time clocks. It has two-way communication with QuickBooks (which was a requirement for our bean counter). It isn't perfect...there are some features I've had to find "work-arounds" to get it to do what I want, but the customer service is fast and actually helpful and they are adding new features regularly. I like the support chat option directly in the app, but email and phone works too (and no indecipherable accents). The only reason I could see for leaving a negative review would be to give your own shop a leg up on the competition...but we already have all the work we need, so this software has helped increase our efficiency and productivity to allow us to take on even more work and have a life outside of the shop!

The best autoshop software I ever used. It gets me better organized and better manage my workflow. I'm surprised how user-friendly this software is.
