Requested a brochure and in return received numerous emails as well as calls and texts at 6 am in the morning, despite requesting more than once that I not be contacted. The rep blamed the automated service yet the he called my personal number from his cell, sending texts and non-prerecorded voicemails by the rep himself. Very unprofessional.
Been using Vend for over a year now and love it. Integrates beautifully with Shopify to support an online element to your business. Its a little pricey but if your a serious seller you can't go wrong.

Dreadful to use. User friendly in all the wrong ways, meaning it's easy to get nothing done! Glitchy system. I can change my inventory count for "some" products...what is that. I regret my decision with Vend, and their customer service, while constantly available, doesn't help you actually solve your problems. No way to print your receipts, and the printer they recommend for barcodes only prints 95% of the barcode, so you can't scan it. Customer service says oops sorry wish we could do more.

Inept customer service and lousy technology with too many bugs that can never be resolved when you call in. Constantly worried that my information will be a target of data breach. I am just going to stick with Shopify going forward.

Vend has a great POS system but their customer service is just about the worst I've ever experienced. If you have an issue, DO NOT BOTHER CALLING, EMAILING, OR CHATTING with support. Each department is so disjointed from each other. You send a question and get no response or you get 4 difference people emailing you the same response that has NOTHING to do with your original inquiry.
I feel bad that I recommended VEND to so many business in Toronto. I fear they'll go through what I've had to deal with. I've now cancelled VEND and couldn't be happier! Switched to Shopify and have not only received a better solution for my stores POS needs but their customer service is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Take notes Vend. Figure out your customer service or customers will drop off after have to deal with more than 2 problems.
