Garbage Service !! After getting all our company information they denied our service, we feel because it was racial profiling. We got a great new merchant glad they did that!! BE CAREFUL DON'T GIVE INFO THEY KEEP IT.

BEWARE - They freeze your account for no reason at all. Then they hold it for months while they earn interest. These guys have no reason to do what they do. And their customer service is terrible. Your put on hold for like 10 minutes then goes to voicemail. No one knows whats going on when you finally talk to a human. They make up the rules as they go along. this company is a SCAM and should not be a company at all. I have never dealt with such a crappy company in my whole business life. Stay away or they may screw you too. Negative 5,000 stars. You guys are fraudsters!

Shady business practices, putting large transactions on hold permanently etc.. Plus they do not follow PCI compliance at all. I was desperate and accepted employment there when I shouldn't have. So I know.

This is the only credit card processing company I know of that has a 4 year contract/agreement. Their platform is not as user friendly and I have been using other credit card processors (Square, Sage/Cash Practice, Authorize.net, Key Bank) for many years. I used them upon the recommendation of the Washington State Chiropractic Association. They do NOT have lower interest rates, do NOT have immediate customer service and will charge you a $395 cancellation fee. Other credit card processors do not charge a cancellation fee!

I had been using their credit card processing for our business since 2012. They used to have a local rep and be reliable and reachable, but in recent months many transactions would not process correctly, constant errors on their website. I was no longer under contract, I asked to terminate services and they wanted to hit me with "early termination fees" of almost $400 even though I was NOT UNDER CONTRACT! I took MONTHS to get them to terminate my services, finally I contacted my bank to put stop payments on them, then they sent me to collections even though I had written proof that we owed nothing! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY ARE CROOKED. James Dodson and Kelly Shanahan are CROOKS that will try to steal your money if you try to dare leave their services.

UPDATE 21JUL2017 - I have received a refund in full of the amounts charged to our account after the termination was completed. Prolific has also refunded my early termination fee in full.

My experience with Prolific has been very positive the 7 years we have been with them for our credit card processing. Their merchant rate fees are fair and their system is very reliable. My rep has always gone out of his way to try and save us money and to be sure we have the best processing experience.

It was hard reading the reviews and wondering if they were real? Imagine having your incoming deposits frozen and not being able to touch your own money going on 15 days. When...you do get a phone call through nobody can tell you anything! I have been told twice that only the president of the company can handle this and he is not in today. I have left several unanswered voicemails. I have several processing accounts at several different businesses and this is by far the worst customer service that I have received in over 30 years in the pizza restaurant business. Beware! There are better choices with companies that at least pretend to care!

I switched to using prolific for my non-profit ministry a year ago. We cut our merchant fees in half this year saving us at least $1300 this year. In addition, Prolific's connection to other plug-ins and providers have given us a plethora of options to highlight various projects for people to contribute to. Their platform has also made it very easy for people to purchase products on line as well as set up recurring giving structures according to the preferences of our donors. Lastly, the customer service, (and my handler, as I like to call him--Brian Cooper) has been incredibly helpful to work with! I would highly recommend Prolific as a merchant provider for your business or ministry!

I have been using Prolific Business Solutions for 5 years. I am very happy with the customer service and the rate is MUCH better than the rate offered through Square. I have had no issues and appreciate the individual service I have been given by the area director. I would be confident in recommending this company to others using it for a Home Based business.
